So I know that it is a little early, but we hung up our
CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!!!!! It was such a beautiful weekend that we decided to put them up now while it is warm and not 10 degrees
outside! We were quite the site hanging off the roof stringing up lights before
thanksgiving :) And I realized that I am terrified of heights, and I totally blamed it on that stupid ride
Jalon made me go on in Vegas!! I still got up there and helped him in all of his perfectionism by "
straightening out the icicles, cause really there aren't crooked icicles ya know!!" (PS they don't go straight so don't waste your time!) But it sure is pretty, and we didn't get to do this out in the country cause we sorta thought that it was... well pointless!
No one would see them but us and our 90 year old neighbor,
and I'm not sure he would have noticed! So it is another "town thing" that we are having some fun with! Anyway, it was fun and this is the finished product! We turned them
on for the kids to see... and us! :) We all "ooh"-ed and "aah"-ed, and then I swore that we wouldn't turn them on until the day after Thanksgiving. We'll see how long that lasts!

That is so pretty. I think its smart doing it while the weather is nice. Your house looks beautiful, its the first pic I've seen of it.
