Here are some more pics from our time up north. We helped Mom and Dad get ready for Christmas by hanging up lights, and getting one tree for mom.

blue ones! Must be a Block thing! I think we had an all blue Christmas tree every other year, and the years when we had something different, grandma had an all blue one. Just another of those traditions! :) But it sure is pretty!! And to this day I always have something blue up for Christmas at my house!
this is my dad, hard hat and all helping mom and the kids put up the tree they went out and cut down! Mom has a little flower garden at the end of the driveway that she puts stuff in for the seasons and wanted a little tree this year. Dad came down with a hard hat and safety glasses on and the kids (and me ) thought it was hilarious!

The finished product... we know it looks a little like the charlie brown Christmas tree, but it's festive! Hope you all had as much fun as we did getting ready for the season!:)
